Ingredientts:
- 1 cup bengalgram flour(besan)
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- a pinch soda-bi-carb
- few drops lemon juice
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 raw banana
- oil for deep frying
- In a bowl mix besan,rice flour,chilli and turmeric powder,soda-bi-carb and salt.
- Add enough water to make into a thick batter.
- Add lemon juice.
- Peel banana and cut into 2"long thin slices.
- Dip banana slices in the batter and deep fry in medium heat till golden brown.
- Serve with tomato ketchup.
Tip: - After frying 2-3 batches you will have less oil and less batter.
- Well,chop banana slices into thin stripes mix with batter.
- Drop by spoonful into oil.
- Adding lemon juices enhances action of soda-bi-carb
